High quality regrind

The Rapid cutting technique, comprised of clean scissors-cutting action and constant cutting circle, produces granules of a uniform size with minimal dust content even with the toughest materials.

Low energy consumption

With a genuine double-scissor knife configuration, where both the fixed and rotating knives are angled, the force needed to cut the plastic is significantly reduced. This in combination with a large torque means that a smaller motor can be used, thereby saving energy costs.

Pre-adjustable knives

With a fixture, presetting the knives outside the machine is easy, providing fast and convenient servicing. The optional grinding fixture makes resharpening of knives easy and guarantees the correct knife angles.

Constant Cutting Circle (CCC)

Rapid granulators and shredders deliver precise, consistent cuts every time. This design ensures even wear, improved efficiency and reduced energy consumption, making our machines durable, reliable and ideal for heavy-duty applications.

NEW pusher system

The new pusher system with upgraded pneumatic cylinders allows the operator to increase the output and thus makes the machine more versatile for different applications. The pusher body now has an increased depth and reinforced side guides to support the pusher - this allows it to withstand any irregular load without loss of production.

NEW corrugated floor

The newly designed corrugated floor opens up usage for demanding applications such as sheet, big bags and thin-wall materials. This floor design prevents jamming, reduces the need to use scrapers and improves the flexibility in the range of products it can efficiently shred.

Reversible screen

Most granulation or cutting occurs near the screen. Hence it is extremely important to have the screen in good condition. A worn screen has rounded hole edges and needs to be replaced with a new screen. Screens from Rapid are reversible (excluding special screens), which gives them double the life.

Open-Hearted design

Rapid's Open-Hearted design provides quick, easy and complete access to the granulator's heart - the cutting area of the granulator. This facilitates quick and easy cleaning when changing colors or materials. Maximum visibility of the cutting area removes doubts if it is clean or not, with no hidden corners where materials can be missed. Replacement of knives is also easy due to the easy access.
